MoPoS — A Monetary Policy Simulation Game

MoPoS is a computer simulation game, that lets players act out the role of a central bank in a simple virtual economy.

Gameplay

Select simulation mode (Random mode, ‘Calm waters’, ‘Soft landing’, ‘Stagflation’, ‘Threat of deflation’).

Depending on the scenario, players have to overcome different obstacles in economics to maximize outcomes of one’s own country.

Every quarter players can read feedback on evaluation and simulation of the outcome.

Context

The game was created to teach players about  macroeconomic relationships and the options and limitations of monetary policy.
