The current version of the game focuses on Rotterdam and its surroundings. The goal of the game is to help regional governmental bodies communicate better and let them practice making decisions under stress and based on conflicting information. With the use of “events” a disaster scenario develops during the game to which regional governmental bodies need to respond to. If they work together the chances to overcome the imminent disaster become greater.

Gameplay

Players set up a board.

Players roll event die and react to disaster scenarios with pawns.

Players discuss steps to be taken and choose most appropriate way to overcome obstacles.

The game was developed because of the poor level of preparation for flood disaster in the Netherlands for an flood disaster
